I have not yet visited the place. But it is in my checklist next time I visit Europe... I visited the area a long time ago and can tell that the art of living, the majestic nature as well as the food quality (southern French, Italian inspired & Spanish) was absolutely fantastic.
Iori Hotel seems to show a smart combination between the fashionable "LOHAS" style so popular now in Japan. Each suite is named according to a major Japanese city. Other rooms are named according the Japanese name of a kind of wood. But the deco & woody texture as well as structure, puts you back in the warm European chalet ambiance expected in this location. The introduction of neo-Japanese culture seems to be existing in the details, such as bed sheets, stools, chairs & probably some non-invading techno devices. Apparently the owners went crazy on neo-Japanese furniture and decided to open a furniture shop associated with the hotel.
The food seems to be 100% Japanese & the choice of branding may have been decided around the choice of cuisine this chalet provides.
The Branding has been created by the talented Tea Time Studio (Barcelona, Spain)
